BusMrtSG (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the BusMrtSG mobile application (“App”).
We collect your device’s location (with your permission) solely to find nearby bus stops and MRT stations. Location data is used only on-device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and other data to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent.
We do not collect or store any personal usage data or analytics on our own servers. All app data (such as saved favorites) is stored locally on your device.
The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
On iOS 14.5 and above, the App will ask for your permission before accessing your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA). You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you will be presented with a consent form for ad personalization, as required by GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing the app’s data.
We do not retain any personal data on external servers. App preferences and favorites are stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
